     Mark Taylor is Cluett Professor of Humanities at Williams College and is the author of 19 books, including Moment of Complexity: Emerging Network Culture, Altarity, About Religion: Economics of Faith in Virtual Cultures, and Imagologies: Media Philosophy. He has contributed to many journal publications, including The Chronicle of Higher Education, Critical Inquiry, Journal of the American Religion, and Religion and the Intellectual Life and is the recipient of numerous awards including the American Association of University Press' Book Jacket Award in 1998.
       Donald Kraybill serves as Dean of Scholarship at Messiah College, and is currently Professor of Sociology and Anabaptist-Pietist Studies. He also directed the Young Center for the Study of Anabaptist and Pietist groups. His research on Anabaptist studies has received national recognition and been featured in magazines, newspapers, radio, and television programs on an international scale. He has authored or edited books on Amish life and culture, including The Riddle of Amish Culture, The Amish and the State, Amish Enterprise: From Plows to Profits, Mennonite Peacemaking: From Quietism to Activism (1995), and The Riddles of Human Society. He has served as a consultant to two PBS specials on Amish culture: "The Amish Riddle" and "The Amish and Us."
